Common use of Duty Free Lunch Clause in Contracts

Duty Free Lunch. The School Division will provide each teacher assigned work for five (5) hours or longer a thirty (30) minute rest period during each five (5) hours worked. 8.3.1. Where an unbroken thirty (30) minutes of rest is not practicable, the rest period may be broken into two (2) periods of no less than fifteen (15) minutes each. Such arrangement must be agreed to in writing by the teacher and the School Division. 8.3.2. When reasonable, this break shall occur in the middle of the assignment. 8.3.3.
