Common use of Educational Assistants Clause in Contracts

Educational Assistants. The regular hours of work shall be six and one-half (6 ½) hours per day, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., exclusive of the lunch break Monday to Friday, from the first instructional day to the last instructional day of the school year. Effective September 1, 2011, the regular hours of work shall be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. exclusive of the lunch break Monday to Friday, from the first instructional day to the last instructional day of the school year.

The regular Educational Assistants’ normal hours of work shall be those hours specifically assigned by the Division up to a maximum of six and one-half (6 ½6) consecutive hours per day, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.Monday to Friday, exclusive of the lunch break Monday to Friday, from the first instructional day to the last instructional day of the school yearmeal break. Effective September 1, 2011, the regular hours of work shall Class supervision will be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. exclusive of the lunch break Monday to Friday, from the first instructional day to the last instructional day of the school yearno longer than forty (40) minutes per day.
