Educational Compensation – Educational Increment. Educational Degrees: Employees will be paid an annual increment of a maximum of $1,000.00 for an Associate of Arts Degree(s), or an annual increment of a maximum $1,500.00 for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree(s) from an accredited institution approved by the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources. This annual increment will be prorated for the number of months that the employee has the degree. There is a maximum of one increment paid under this section no matter how many degrees an employee has. If an employee has an AA degree(s) and a BA/BS degree(s), the employee will only be paid for one BA/BS degree for a maximum of $1,500.00 per year. This increment cannot be combined with the increment in Article 11.1-2.

  • Educational Incentive For those employees receiving educational incentive payment at the time of layoff, upon re-employment, such employees shall be eligible to receive educational incentive.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Educational Benefits The Employer agrees to provide educational benefits to employees that are in permanent status as of the first day of the quarter they are registering in accordance with the Employer’s space-available tuition waiver policy and employee 50% operating fee tuition waiver policy, to include:

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund effective January 1st, 2013 and each year thereafter, two thousand ($2,000.00) for the purpose of providing Paid Education Leave. Said Paid Education Leave will be for the purpose of upgrading the Dependent Contractor’s skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Such monies will be paid into a trust fund established by the National Union, Unifor and sent by the Company to the following address: Unifor Education Leave Program c/o Unifor 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, XX X0X 0X0 The Company further agrees that members of the bargaining unit selected by the Union to attend such courses will be granted a Leave of Absence without pay for twenty (20) days class time, plus travel time where necessary, with said Leave of Absence to be intermittent over a twelve (12) month period from the first day of leave. Dependent Contractors on such leave will continue to accrue seniority and benefits during such leave.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Educational Allowance Special Preparation Bonuses Per Month Per Shift (Full-time) (Part-time) (1) A.C.L.S. Course (2) Special Courses or Introduction to Nursing Management or 6 months post-graduate O.R. $10.00 0.06 course $15.00 0.09 (3) One year University Diploma $40.00 0.25 (4) Bachelor's Degree $80.00 0.49 (5) Master's Degree $120.00 0.74 These bonuses shall be paid only when, in the judgement of the Hospital, the position of the nurse requires the educational qualifications set out above.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Education Incentive A. The following monthly education incentive pay will be paid to each employee upon completing the listed degree and providing proof of completion to the Agency. Associate Degree Two percent (2%) Bachelor Degree Four percent (4%) B. The above percentages will be based upon the employee’s base rate of pay. C. An employee will be entitled to one (1) education incentive pay only. D. Degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher education.
