If an employee's absence without pay from the Employer including absences under Article 11, Leaves of Absence, exceeds thirty (30) continuous calendar days the employee will not accumulate seniority or service for any purposes under the Collective Agreement for the period of the absence in excess of thirty (30) continuous calendar days unless otherwise provided and the employee will become responsible for full payment of any subsidized employee benefits in which she or he is entitled to participate during the period of absence.
