EFFECT OF REEMPLOYMENT. When a person is reemployed from either a department reemployment list or a County-wide reemployment list, the period of unemployment following the layoff shall not be treated as an interruption of service for purposes of reestablishing salary, benefits or seniority. The period of such unemployment shall be treated as County service for seniority purposes. However, with the exception of seniority, the period of unemployment shall not be treated as County service for any other purposes.

EFFECT OF REEMPLOYMENT. Your Severance Benefits will not be reduced by any other compensation you earn or could have earned from another source.
EFFECT OF REEMPLOYMENT. If you are re-employed by the Company or an Affiliate after severance payments have been scheduled to be made but before the final severance payment is made, all remaining severance payments shall be forfeited and shall automatically terminate as of the date of re-employment. If you have received severance payments in a single lump sum and are re-employed before the date the final severance payment would have been made if payments had been made at regular payroll intervals in an amount equal to your base salary that you were receiving before your Termination of Employment (plus an amount equal to the pro rata portion of your target bonus), you will be required to refund to the Company: (a) that portion of the lump sum payment representing severance payments you would have received after the date of re-employment minus (b) an amount equal to any taxes paid or payable on such portion of the lump sum payment.

EFFECT OF REEMPLOYMENT. If a Participant is reemployed by the Employer or an Affiliate after distribution has been scheduled to be made but before the Participant attains Normal Retirement Age and before actual distribution, distribution of the Participant's Vested Account shall be suspended and the Vested Account shall continue to be held in the Fund until another Event of Maturity effective as to the Participant shall occur after the Participant's reemployment. It is the general intent of this Plan that no distributions shall be made before the Normal Retirement Age of a Participant while the Participant is employed by the Employer or an Affiliate.
EFFECT OF REEMPLOYMENT. If the Company or an affiliate reemploys the Designated Officer during the period his or her compensation is being paid under Section 4.2(1), the remaining portion of his or her salary payments under Section 4.2(1) will be discontinued beginning on the first day of such reemployment.
