Period of Unemployment definition

Period of Unemployment means the period which commences on the date on which a Participant registers with DHS or directly with the Provider as unemployed, in accordance with any Guidelines.
Period of Unemployment means the period which commences on the date on which a Participant registers with Services Australia or directly with the Provider as unemployed, in accordance with any Guidelines.
Period of Unemployment means the period of unemployment which commences on the date identified in the Department’s IT Systems, in accordance with any Guidelines.

  • Period of Unemployment: Public Act 30 ILCS 570 Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act must be adhered to in entirety by the awarded contractor.

  • The training course: must commence before the Anchor Date for the Directly Related Employment; and may have commenced before the start of the Participant’s current Period of Unemployment.

  • The training course must be completed: after the start of the Participant’s current Period of Unemployment; not more than 12 months before the Anchor Date for any Directly Related Employment; and before or during the 13-week Period or 26-week Period relating to the Directly Related Employment.

  • For Directly Registered Participants, the Engagement Payment will be paid automatically on Commencement.No further Engagement Payments will be payable during the Participant’s same Period of Unemployment.

  • An Engagement Payment of $1,200 will be paid once during a Participant’s Period of Unemployment upon their initial Commencement in Services, except for Transitioned Participants from jobactive or the New Employment Services Trial (NEST).

  • In order to be eligible to receive SUB Benefits for a Period of Unemployment, you must have your employment involuntarily terminated, be eligible for State Benefits (unless one of the exceptions in3.06 applies), receive no job referrals from the Union hiring hall and file a completed application for SUB Benefits with the Fund Office.

  • Period of Agreement means 5 years from the date of Final acceptance of the Project.

The outcome of this service is sustained paid employment at or above the minimum wage in an integrated setting in the general workforce in a job that meets personal and career goals. Supported employment services can be provided through many different service models.

For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of the first occurrence of a Change in Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the second anniversary of the occurrence of the Change in Control and (ii) the Executive’s death.

  • Benefit Period means the period of time from the date of the Accident causing the Injury for which benefits are payable, as shown in the Schedule of Benefits, and the date after which no further benefits will be paid.

If any covenant in this Section 8.2 is held to be unreasonable, arbitrary or against public policy, such covenant shall be considered to be divisible with respect to scope, time, and geographic area, and such lesser scope, time, or geographic area, or all of them as a court of competent jurisdiction may determine to be reasonable, not arbitrary, and not against public policy, shall be effective, binding, and enforceable against the Executive. The period of time applicable to any covenant in this Section 8.2 will be extended by the duration of any violation by the Executive of such covenant. The Executive shall, while the covenant under this Section 8.2 is in effect, give notice to the Employer, within ten days after accepting any other employment, of the identify of the Executive's employer. The Employer may notify such employer that the Executive is bound by this Agreement and, at the Employer's election, furnish such employer with a copy of this Agreement or relevant portions thereof.

  • Living Wage Employee means any and all employees of the Contractor and all Subcontractors of the Contractor that perform any part of the Work on a property owned by or leased to the City, including all streets, sidewalks and other public rights of way, for at least one consecutive hour, but excluding Students, volunteers and employees of Social Enterprises;

  • Customized employment means an approach to supported employment which individualizes the employment relationship between employees and employers in ways that meet the needs of both. Customized employment is based on an individualized determination of the strengths, needs, and interests of the person with a disability and is also designed to meet the specific needs of the employer. Customized employment may include employment developed through job carving, self-employment or entrepreneurial initiatives, or other job development or restructuring strategies that result in job responsibilities being customized and individually negotiated to fit the needs of the individual with a disability. Customized employment assumes the provision of reasonable accommodations and supports necessary for the individual to perform the functions of a job that is individually negotiated and developed.
