Common use of Eligibility – Pro-Rated Benefit Clause in Contracts

Eligibility – Pro-Rated Benefit. To be eligible for group insurance benefits, a part-time employee must work a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week. If the employee is found to be eligible, group insurance benefits will be provided by dividing the number of hours worked per week by the employee by the hours defined for fulltime, which is thirty (30) hours per week.
