Group Benefits Eligibility. 7.2.1. Subject to the provisions of the master policies, all teachers appointed to the staff of the Employer after the signing of this Collective Agreement shall be required to enroll in the ASEBP Plans. All teachers enrolled in the plans on the signing date of this Collective Agreement shall continue to be enrolled in the plans. A teacher may be exempted from participation in the Extended Health Care Plan, the Dental Plan and the Vision Plan upon submitting proof of participation in these or similar plans through their spouse.
Group Benefits Eligibility. 7.2.1 Participation in the Plan shall be a condition of employment for all teachers commencing employment for a full school year.
Group Benefits Eligibility. 7.2.1. When enrolment and other requirements for group participation in various plans have been met, the School Division will sponsor such plans to the portion agreed upon, and such sponsorship shall not exceed that which is authorized or accepted by the benefit agency.
7.2.2. Subject to the provisions of the master policies, all teachers appointed to the staff of the School Division after the signing of this collective agreement shall be required to enroll in the A.S.E.B.
Group Benefits Eligibility. 7.2.1 Participation in the ASEBP (Life, AD & D Schedule 2; E.D.B. Plan D) shall be a condition of employment for all teachers coming on staff after January 1, 1977.

Group Benefits Eligibility. 7.2.1 All teachers shall be members of the ASEBP Extended Disability - Plan D; and Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment - Schedule 2; as defined in 7.1.1.1. a., and b. and in accordance with ASEBP regulations.
7.2.2 With respect to clause 7.1.1.1 c. d., and e.; it is understood that participation in ASEBP - Extended Health Care -Plan 1, Dental Care - Plan 3 and Vision Care – Plan 3 is not a condition of employment.
Group Benefits Eligibility. 7.2.1 In accordance with the provisions in Clause 7.1.1, the School Division shall contribute toward the premium cost of each participating teacher for Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Schedule 2A and Extended Disability Plan D1). All teachers shall be members of these plans as a condition of employment.

7.2.2. The School Division’s contribution to health plan benefits will be paid when a teacher is absent from work for short term absences of less than thirty (30) calendar days, sick leave to a maximum of ninety (90) calendar days, and if the teacher is eligible for extended disability benefits with ASEBP to a maximum of two (2) years, and health-related maternity leave to a maximum of ninety (90) calendar days. For all other absences, the payment of the full cost of premium contributions will be the responsibility of the teacher.
Group Benefits Eligibility. 7.2.1 By June 15th of any given school year, interim, temporary, or probationary teachers who receive a new contract of employment for the upcoming school year will be provided with benefits coverage through ASEBP over the summer break.

Subject to the provisions of the master policies, all teachers appointed to the staff of the School Division participating in the ASEBP after the signing of this collective agreement shall be required to enroll in Life Insurance, Plan 2A, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Plan 2A, and Extended Disability Benefits, Plan D, of the ASEBP.
