Common use of Employee Assignments Clause in Contracts

Employee Assignments. Employees shall be notified in writing of any change in their tentative assignments for the ensuing school year, including schools to which they will be assigned, and the grade and/or subject they will teach, and any special or unusual course that they will have as soon as practicable, and under normal circumstances no later than June 1. If circumstances prohibit identifying the assignment, the employee shall be notified verbally or in writing explaining the reasons by May 15. D-12.2 In the case of employees employed prior to July 31, the original building assignment shall be made by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources as soon after initial appointment as practicable.
