Assignment of Employees. Each member of the unit is assigned by Board action. Within Board authorization, the Chancellor has the authority to assign all employees as to location of assignment and specific hours of employment in harmony with conditions specified in this Agreement. An employee gains status and employment rights as an employee of the District, but not as an employee of a specific college.
Assignment of Employees. Each employee shall be given written notice of their compensation, class and subject assignment as soon as possible for the forthcoming year but the Board shall have the right to change said assignments under unusual circumstances. As soon as possible the Board or designee will notify the teacher of any change.
Assignment of Employees. As of the date immediately prior to the Distribution Date, the employment of the Transferred Employees by the NiSource Parties shall have terminated and been assigned and transferred to a Columbia Party. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, nothing in this Agreement shall create any obligation on the part of any Columbia Party to continue the employment of any employee for any definite period following the Distribution Date or to change the employment status of any employee from “at will.”

Effective immediately prior to the Distribution Date, the employment of the Transferred Employees by First Data shall be terminated and thereupon shall commence with and shall be assigned and transferred to Western Union or a Western Union Subsidiary. Notwithstanding anything set forth below or herein to the contrary, nothing in this Agreement shall create any obligation on the part of any Western Union Party to continue the employment of any employee for any definite period following the Distribution Date or to change the employment status of any employee from “at will.” Notwithstanding the foregoing, if and only to the extent necessary to preserve payroll, benefits, or other legal entitlements with respect to employees outside the United States, a Western Union Party and a First Data Party may enter into one or more agreements whereby such Party may lease employees from the other company or its Subsidiary for a period of not more than three calendar months following the Distribution Date. Any such agreement(s) shall require the company benefiting from the services of such employee(s) to fully reimburse the leasing company for the full cost of the employee(s) remuneration and shall contain other terms and conditions consistent with an arm’s length commercial relationship between the leasing entity and the service recipient.
Assignment of Employees. In general, most employees assigned to the Ralcorp Group and most employees assigned to the Post Group will remain with their existing employers on the Distribution Date. However, in certain situations Post employees will be assigned and transferred to the Ralcorp Group and in certain situations Ralcorp employees will be assigned and transferred to the Post Group effective prior to the Distribution. Effective as of the time of such assignment or transfer, such employee shall be an employee of the entity to which such employee was assigned or transferred.
Assignment of Employees. Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, no provision in this APCA will limit any of the Parties' or their respective Affiliates' rights to assign and/or re-assign, in any way they may choose, those of their employees who participate in the Project.

However, in certain situations MPC employees will be assigned and transferred to the MRO Group and in certain situations MRO employees will be assigned and transferred to the MPC Group effective prior to the Distribution.

In general, prior to the Effective Time, EPC and EHP shall identify employees and former employees assigned to the EPC Group and employees and former employees assigned to the EHP Group. Those employees assigned to the EPC Group and those employees assigned to the EHP Group will be employed by such applicable employers to which they have been assigned as of the Effective Time.

Effective immediately prior to the Distribution Date, (i) the employment of the Fortune Brands Transferred Employees by the Fortune Brands Parties shall be transferred to, and thereupon the employment of the Fortune Brands Transferred Employees shall commence with, a Cabinets Party; and (ii) the employment of the Cabinets Transferred Employees by the Cabinets Parties shall be transferred to, and thereupon the employment of the Cabinets Transferred Employees shall commence with, a Fortune Brands Party. If it is determined after the Distribution Date that any employees were not properly assigned and transferred to the appropriate employer prior to the Distribution Date or that it is necessary or appropriate to assign and transfer an employee performing services pursuant to the Transition Services Agreement to the other group, the Parties shall cooperate in good faith to effect such assignment and transfer after the Distribution Date. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, nothing in this Agreement shall create any obligation on the part of any Fortune Brands Party or Cabinets Party to continue the employment of any employee for any definite period following the Distribution Date or to change the employment status of any employee from “at will.”
