Employee Selection. Employees will be selected by, and serve at the pleasure of, the Xxxx County Schools Virtual Schools Program. Employees will be appointed in a “supplement” status.

The Superintendent shall have primary responsibility in making recommendations to the Board regarding all personnel matters including employment, assignment, transfer, and dismissal of employees. Superintendent shall examine potential employees and present recommendations for hiring to the Board.

The recommendations of employees will be given due consideration before final assignments are made by the Superintendent. However, the Superintendent has the sole right to assign or reassign staff members to positions for which they are qualified within the school district.

I understand that in order to fulfill the conditions of my continuing employment under the Collective Bargaining Agreement applicable to that employment, I must become a member of the Union to the extent of paying monthly membership dues and the appropriate initiation or reinstatement fees (where required) either through payroll deductions or directly to International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge ( ) in accordance with this Agreement. I acknowledge receipt of two (2) forms; a Membership Application and/or Check-off Authorization form supplied by the Union for deduction of dues/fees from my earnings, and an election to pay dues/fees directly to the Union. I hereby agree to sign and return to the Company within thirty (30) calendar days upon entry or within seven (7) calendar days upon reentry the appropriate card to indicate that I will meet this obligation either by payroll deductions or payment directly to the Union. Employee Selection. If three (3) or more employees bid on the position, the position shall be filled from among the three (3) most senior bidders. For the purposes of bidder selection, the "Rule of 3" shall apply. That is, the supervisor is entitled to select from three (3) candidates and the three (3) most senior may be considered as equal. Seniority for bidding purposes means classification seniority for layoff purposes. If two (2) employees bid, the supervisor shall be entitled to one (1) additional name from an eligible list. If one (1) employee bids, the supervisor shall be entitled to two (2) additional names from an eligible list. If no employees bid, the supervisor may fill the position from an eligible list or otherwise in accordance with the Personnel Management Regulations. The supervisor shall offer to interview all candidates either in person or on the telephone. Subsequent to submitting a bid, an employee may waive consideration for the position at any time by notifying the supervisor verbally or in writing in which case the next most senior bidder (if any) or candidate from the eligible list may be considered. The remaining active bidders will be advised within ten (10) work days after the posting is removed whether they have been selected or the status of their bid. If requested by the employee, supervisors shall give an employee in writing the reason(s) why he or she was not selected.
Employee Selection. Company reserves the right to refuse or limit Consultant’s use of any employee or to require Consultant to remove any employee already engaged in the performance of the Services. Company’s exercise of such right will in no way limit Consultant’s obligations under this Agreement.
Employee Selection. A. The Company will notify the CBU personnel within the needed classification in writing or by Company e-mail with required dates of travel. This notification starts the 48-hour volunteer window. If different travel dates are required by the Company a new 48 hour period will begin. Volunteers can withdraw at any time up to 72 hours before the travel period commences or, in case of emergency, during the travel period.
