Employee Donation of Hours. County Office employees donating sick leave, vacation, or compensatory time to the Catastrophic Specific Leave Bank for a specific individual, must donate in increments of whole hours. The donating employee must have a vacation leave balance of at least forty (40) hours after the donation of vacation time and/or eighty (80) hours of sick leave after the donation of sick leave time. Employees may donate all of their accrued compensatory time to the bank upon written waiver. Donated time and time used will be added or deducted in full-hour increments, and will be considered as equivalent in value for purposes of this section only.

  • Designation of Holidays 1. Except when normal operations require, or in an emergency, non-suppression personnel shall not be required to work on the following days, which are hereby declared to be holidays for such employees: ▪ New Year's Day, January 1; ▪ Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx.'s Birthday; ▪ Presidents' Day, the third Monday in February; ▪ Memorial Day, the last Monday in May; ▪ Independence Day, July 4; ▪ Labor Day, first Monday in September; ▪ Columbus Day, the second Monday in October; ▪ Veteran's Day, November 11; ▪ Thanksgiving Day; ▪ The Day After Thanksgiving; ▪ Christmas Day, December 25; ▪ Any day declared to be a holiday by proclamation of the Mayor after declared by the Governor of the State of California or the President of the United States.

  • Reduction of Hours The Employer shall not reduce the weekly hours of work of an employee for the purpose of replacing such hours with another employee at a lower hourly rate of pay.

  • Transition to Retirement 24.1 An Employee may advise their Employer in writing of their intention to retire within the next five years and participate in a retirement transition arrangement.

  • Complete Disposal Upon Termination of Service Agreement Upon Termination of the Service Agreement Provider shall dispose or delete all Student Data obtained under the Service Agreement. Prior to disposition of the data, Provider shall notify LEA in writing of its option to transfer data to a separate account, pursuant to Article II, section 3, above. In no event shall Provider dispose of data pursuant to this provision unless and until Provider has received affirmative written confirmation from LEA that data will not be transferred to a separate account.

  • Arrangement of Hours (a) The ordinary hours of work, exclusive of meal times, shall not exceed an average of 38 hours per week.

  • Span of Hours (a) The ordinary hours of work for a day worker will be between 6.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.

  • Donation of Sick Leave The District shall allow unit members to donate sick leave to individual employees who have suffered long-term disabilities or illnesses. Donating unit members shall retain a thirty (30) day balance of sick leave after their donation and may donate no more than twenty-five (25) days of sick leave per year. The donation form is Appendix I. Part-time faculty may receive sick leave donations from any employee, and may donate accumulated sick leave to other part-time faculty following the same requirements as outlined above. Part-time faculty may not donate sick leave to full- time employees.
