EMPLOYEE IMPROVEMENT. 1. An employee required by the administration to attend a workshop or take specialized training shall have her/his enrollment fee, materials and mileage paid by the Board. When such training requires an overnight stay, necessary expenses for room and meals shall also be paid only if previously approved by the Board. Regular wage shall be paid for such attendance or training, whether it is within or outside the employee’s normal workday.
