Employee to attend Medical Examination. The Employer can require that an Employee take a medical examination in the Employer's time if: a. the Employer contends that the Employee is unable to perform or safely perform the inherent requirements for any reason (including but not limited to that the Employee is affected by drugs or alcohol or the Employee is or has been injured or is suffering a medical condition or illness); or b. where the Employee has been absent from work on a persistent and or continual basis (either in one or multiple periods) and the Employee has not supplied contemporaneous detailed medical information about their absence/s.
