Employees working less than 40 hours per week. 8.6.5.1 For current employees (employees hired prior to January 1, 1996) working twenty (20) or more hours per week but less than forty (40) hours per week, the District will contribute a pro-rata amount for fringe benefits. 8.6.5.2 For current employees (employees hired prior to January 1, 1996) working less than twenty (20) hours per week, the District will contribute $500.00 for fringe benefits. 8.6.5.3 For employees hired after the effective date (January 1, 1996) of this Agreement working twenty-five (25) or more hours per week but less than forty (40) hours per week, the District will contribute a pro-rata amount for fringe benefits. 8.6.5.4 All employees hired prior to November 23, 1981 are grandfathered in at their present level.

If there is a change in their workweek, employees will be given written notification by the appointing authority or their designee.

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.
