Common use of Employer Grievance Clause in Contracts

Employer Grievance. (a) The Employer shall have the right to file a grievance concerning its interpretation, application, or alleged violation of the Collective Agreement. A grievance brought by the Employer shall be submitted to the Union at Level 2 of the grievance procedure within twenty-eight (28) calendar days from when the Employer first becomes aware of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance.

A grievance brought by the Employer shall be submitted to with the Union concerning the meaning, application or interpretation of any provision of this Agreement commencing at Level Step 2 of the Grievance Procedure. The grievance procedure shall be filed in writing with the Union by the Executive Director/delegate within twenty-eight twenty (2820) calendar days from when the Employer first becomes of becoming aware of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance.
