EMPLOYMENT OF RETIRED TEACHERS. The Board may employ teachers who have retired and are or will be receiving benefits through STRS. There shall not be any expectation that any such teacher, whether an employee of the Northridge Local School District or not, will be offered employment. The Board reserves the right to offer or not to offer employment selectively, based on the needs of the school district, and no reason for declining to offer such employment to anyone pursuant to this provision shall be required. The decision whether to offer initial or continuing employment shall not be subject to the Grievance Procedure contained in this agreement.
