Appointment of Stewards A. The Union will certify to the Employer in writing a xxxxxxx or stewards and alternates in accordance with the fol- lowing general guidelines. Liquidation and Termination On dissolution of the Company, the Majority Members may appoint one or more Members as liquidator. The liquidators shall proceed diligently to wind up the affairs of the Company and make final distributions as provided herein and in the Act. The costs of liquidation shall be borne as a Company expense. Until final distribution, the liquidators shall continue to operate the Company properties with all of the power and authority of the Members. The steps to be accomplished by the liquidators are as follows:
Election of Stewards In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or elect stewards (to a maximum of two), whose duty shall be to assist any employee which the xxxxxxx represents, in preparing and in presenting his/her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.
Entry Into Force, Duration and Termination 1. The Contracting Parties shall notify each other when the constitutional requirements for entry into force of this Agreement have been fulfilled. The Agreement shall enter into force on the first day of the second month following the date of receipt of the last notification.
Notification of Reemployment Opening 1. Any employee who is laid off and is subsequently eligible for reemployment shall be notified in writing by the District. Such notice shall be sent, with a “Proof of Service by Mail” form, to the last address given the District by the employee.
