ENGINE IDLING. Drivers of ALL VEHICLES agree to turn engines off at every reasonable opportunity when loading and unloading passengers and/or when staging in the various loading zones, staging areas and tour venues throughout Skagway. Vehicles should not sit with engines idling while actively loading, unloading, or waiting for passengers to arrive. Engines should be started only when the vehicle is ready to move, and thereafter, only when the vehicle is in motion or in traffic.

ENGINE IDLING. Drivers of ALL VEHICLES agree to turn engines off at every reasonable opportunity when loading and unloading passengers and/or when staging in the various loading zones, staging areas and tour venues throughout the CBJ. This includes all passenger and crew shuttle operations and “quick drop-offs” accomplished at Marine Park and the Columbia (Tram) Lot. Vehicles should not sit with engines idling while actively loading, unloading, or waiting for passengers to arrive. Engines should be started only when the vehicle is ready to move, and thereafter, only when the vehicle is in motion or in traffic. Note that the State Museum, Juneau Ranger District, and all downtown docks require companies to turn off engines at these facilities as part of a company’s permit to operate.
ENGINE IDLING. Your company and your company’s Personnel with company with (1) all state and local idling laws and regulations and (2) Amazon’s zero non-operational idling policy which prohibits running a Vehicle’s engine when the Vehicle is not in motion for over three (3) minutes. Vehicles in indoor spaces such as garages and delivery stations must always have engines off when not in motion for more than ten (10) seconds. If a driver is not in the cab, then the Vehicle must always be placed in park with parking break engaged, engine turned off, and keys removed from the ignition. Examples of prohibited non-operational idling include idling to “warm up” the Vehicle before start of shift, leaving a Vehicle idling at a delivery stop, idling for use as offsite office, and idling for use as a break area. The only exceptions to Amazon’s three minute policy are as follows, subject to any state and local laws that prohibit the below. Note there are no exceptions for idling unattended Vehicles. a. Vehicle is forced to remain motionless because of traffic, official traffic control signal, or adverse weather conditions affecting the safe operation of the Vehicle. b. Vehicle is being operated for emergency or law enforcement purposes. c. Idling at the direction of a law enforcement officer. d. Idling is necessary to operate heaters, air conditioners, or other equipment to ensure the safety or health of the driver where external temperatures are over eighty (80) degrees F or below forty (40) degrees F and no suitable temperature controlled environment alternative exists. e. Idling to operate defrosters to improve Vehicle visibility. f. Idling is necessary for testing, servicing, repairing or diagnostic purposes.
ENGINE IDLING. You owe a minimum of a $250 fee for EACH TIME that the engine is idled for more than 15 minutes at a time. Excessive idling the engine MAY necessitate the replacement of the catalytic converter. You will be solely responsible for this cost.
ENGINE IDLING. ATN vehicles shall not idle for more than five minutes maximum to comply with State regulations. Unnecessary idling causes excess fuel consumption, shortened engine life and contributes to air pollution. Engines may be operated to supply heat or air conditioning necessary for passenger comfort and safety, in which case idling up to a maximum of 30 minutes is allowed. CONTRACTOR is responsible for all fines for violating State or County engine idling regulations.

  • AIRCRAFT CONFIGURATION The guarantees defined below (the “Guarantees”) are applicable to the A319-100 Aircraft as described in the Standard Specification Ref. J 000 01000 Issue 6 dated 1st March 2007 equipped with:

  • Spares Boeing will revise, as applicable, the customized Recommended Spares Parts List (RSPL) and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC).

  • Workstation/Laptop encryption All workstations and laptops that process and/or store DHCS PHI or PI must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The encryption solution must be full disk unless approved by the DHCS Information Security Office.

  • Aircraft This peril includes self-propelled missiles and spacecraft.

  • Technical Safeguards 1. USAC and DSS will process the data matched and any data created by the match under the immediate supervision and control of authorized personnel to protect the confidentiality of the data, so unauthorized persons cannot retrieve any data by computer, remote terminal, or other means. 2. USAC and DSS will strictly limit authorization to these electronic data areas necessary for the authorized user to perform their official duties. All data in transit will be encrypted using algorithms that meet the requirements of the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2 or 140-3 (when applicable). 3. Authorized system users will be identified by User ID and password, and individually tracked to safeguard against the unauthorized access and use of the system. System logs of all user actions will be saved, tracked and monitored periodically. 4. USAC will transmit data to DSS via encrypted secure file delivery system. For each request, a response will be sent back to USAC to indicate success or failure of transmission.
