Common use of Entitlement Excess - Options Clause in Contracts

Entitlement Excess - Options. Once the percentage of gross wages has exceeded the annual entitlement in days in any vacation year (April 1st - March 31st), the full-time employee has the following options to use the difference between the two entitlements: (a) Schedule the differential in time off, subject to Article 25.4(c), during the vacation year in which it is earned. (b) Take the difference in pay accumulated to date as an additional payment, in association with regular vacation time off. This option may be used only once during any calendar year. Any remaining differential at the end of the vacation year (March 31st) will be paid out to the employee in the following payroll period.
