Establishment of School. The Charter Holder is hereby authorized to implement at the School the program described in the Charter, attached to this Certificate as Appendix C and incorporated herein by this reference. Any significant changes to any section of the Charter, including the educational program, facilities plan, financial plan, or the management plan, during the School’s pre-operational period or first operational term shall be treated as an amendment in accordance with the Authorizer’s policy.
Establishment of School. Pursuant to the Charter Schools Law, the Authorizer hereby approves the establishment of the School on the terms and conditions set forth in this Charter School Performance Certificate (the “Certificate”). The approved Charter is attached to this Certificate as Appendix D.
Establishment of School. 1.1.1 This Charter Contract is entered into between RePublic Schools, Inc. (“Charter Operator”) and its Governing Board of Directors and the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board (“MCSAB”) for the purpose of establishing and operating Xxxx X. Xxxxxx Prep (the “Charter School”). This contract will be referred to herein as an “Agreement” or a “Charter Contract,” and such terms may be used interchangeably.
1.1.2 The person authorized to sign on behalf of MCSAB is the Chair of Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board.
1.1.3 The person authorized to sign this Agreement on behalf of the Charter Operator is Xxxxxx Xxxxx (“Charter Representative”), who must be the President of the Governing Board of Directors. The President of the Governing Board of Directors affirms as a condition of this Agreement that the Charter Operator’s Board of Directors has authorized him or her to execute agreements, including this Charter Contract, on behalf of the Charter Operator.
1.1.4 The Charter Operator affirms, as a condition of this Charter Contract, that the nonprofit corporation is a duly authorized and certifies that all contracts obligating the charter school have been and will be undertaken by the Charter Operator as a nonprofit corporation. Failure to act strictly as a nonprofit corporation shall be grounds for rescission of its charter.
Establishment of School. 1.1.1 The person authorized to sign on behalf of OPSB is the President of the Orleans Parish School Board or, in the absence of the President, the Vice-President.
1.1.2 The person authorized to sign on behalf of Charter Operator is Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, III (the “Charter Representative”), who shall be an Officer of Charter Board.
