  • Submission of Grievances A. Any employee or group of employees shall have the right to present a grievance. No employee or group of employees shall be hindered from or disciplined for exercising this right. B. If any two (2) or more employees have essentially the same grievance they may, and if requested by the County must, collectively present and pursue their grievance if they report to the same immediate supervisor. C. If the grievant is a group of more than three (3) employees, the group shall, at the request of the County, appoint one (1) or two (2) employees to speak for the collective group. To be considered a grievant in a group grievance, each employee must be individually identified as a grievant when the grievance is submitted at Step 2.

  • CFR PART 200 Procurement of Recovered Materials A non-Federal entity that is a state agency or agency of a political subdivision of a state and its contractors must comply with section 6002 of the Solid Waste Disposal Act, as amended by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The requirements of Section 6002 include procuring only items designated in guidelines of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at 40 CFR part 247 that contain the highest percentage of recovered materials practicable, consistent with maintaining a satisfactory level of competition, where the purchase price of the item exceeds $10,000 or the value of the quantity acquired during the preceding fiscal year exceeded $10,000; procuring solid waste management services in a manner that maximizes energy and resource recovery; and establishing an affirmative procurement program for procurement of recovered materials identified in the EPA guidelines. Does vendor certify that it is in compliance with the Solid Waste Disposal Act as described above? Yes

  • Submission of Formal Disputes a. A Formal Dispute must be filed in writing with the Director of Procurement Services by mail or email, using the following contact information: Email: xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx@xxx.xx.xxx b. The Formal Dispute must include: i. Name, address, e-mail address and telephone numbers of the filer. ii. Solicitation or Contract number. iii. Detailed statement of the legal and factual grounds for the Formal Dispute, including a description of resulting prejudice to the filer. iv. Copies of relevant documents. v. Request for a ruling by the agency. vi. Statement as to the form of relief requested. vii. All information establishing that the filer is an Interested Party for the purpose of filing a Formal Dispute. viii. All information establishing the timeliness of the Formal Dispute.

  • Tax Issues The parties agree that the payments and benefits provided under this Agreement, and all other contracts, arrangements or programs that apply to him/her, shall be subject to Section 16 of the Employment Agreement.

  • ARBITRATION REQUIREMENT EXCEPT AS STATED BELOW, ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND ANY OF US SHALL BE DECIDED BY NEUTRAL, BINDING ARBITRATION RATHER THAN IN COURT OR BY JURY TRIAL. “Dispute” will be given the broadest possible meaning allowable by law. It includes any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to your purchase of this heating or air conditioning unit, any warranty upon the unit, or the unit’s condition.   • Arbitration Request If a Party intends to begin an arbitration to resolve a dispute arising under this Agreement, such Party shall provide written notice (the “Arbitration Request”) to the other Party of such intention and the issues for resolution.

  • Normal Commercial Relations Anything contained in this Indenture to the contrary notwithstanding, the Loan Trustee, any Noteholder or any other party to any of the Operative Documents or the Pass Through Documents or any of their affiliates may conduct any banking or other financial transactions, and have banking or other commercial relationships, with the Company, fully to the same extent as if this Indenture were not in effect, including without limitation the making of loans or other extensions of credit to the Company for any purpose whatsoever, whether related to any of the transactions contemplated hereby or otherwise.

  • Disagreement on Decision Should the parties disagree as to the meaning of the Board's decision, either party may apply to the Chairperson of the Arbitration Board to reconvene the Board to clarify the decision, which it shall make every effort to do within seven days.
