Common use of Extended Child Care Leave Clause in Contracts

Extended Child Care Leave. 14.3.1. The Employer shall grant to an employee an extended child care leave provided that the employee applies in writing to the Employer at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to the date such leave is to commence and providing the beginning date for such leave is at least ten (10) months after initial employment by the Board of Education.

Employer will respond with a decision regarding said leave, or a request for additional information within fourteen (14) calendar days. Both expectant mother(s)/fathers(s) are eligible for an extended childcare leave for the beginning date birth of their child or placement of a child with the employee(s) for such leave is at least ten (10) months after initial employment by the Board of Educationadoption/xxxxxx care.
