Common use of Extended Family Clause in Contracts

Extended Family. Additionally, up to 24 hours, leave may be granted to an employee who provides 29 proof of attendance at the funeral of: father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, 30 daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandparents, and the employee’s aunt/uncle or first cousin. The 31 initial day of this latter leave will be treated as paid funeral leave with any second day taken being 32 charged against the employee’s sick leave.
