Extended Family. In the event of a death of a regular full-time employee’s extended family member, the employee may take a leave of absence without loss of pay or leave credits for up to three scheduled workdays between date of the death and the day after the burial. For purposes of bereavement leave, “extended family member” will mean the following: • Sibling • Spouse’s Parent • Grandchild • Child’s Spouse • Grandparent
