Extended Maternity Leave/Parental Leave. a. Teachers granted leave under Article G.21.1 or Article G.21.7 who choose not to return to work at the expiration of that leave may apply for an extended maternity leave, four (4) weeks prior to the start of a semester or term, or by May 1 in respect to leave expiring on June 30.
