EXTENDED UNION LEAVE. 20.1.1 Workers may request an unpaid leave of absence to perform work for the Union with thirty (30) days notice to the Employer. Such leaves may be for any duration up to sixsix (6) months and may be extended by mutual consent. Seniority will not accrue during the leave of absence. The Employer will take the needs of the business into account, but will not unreasonably withhold approval of such leave or extension.
