Extension of Leave. a. A less than 12-month employee who desires an extension of leave for a part or all of the following school year must submit a request to the Superintendent in writing by April 1 of the school year for which leave was granted. In the event leave was granted after April 1, written request for an extension of the leave shall be made as soon as feasible, but in no event later than three weeks prior to the employee’s first scheduled duty day in the new school year.
