INCENTIVE DAYS. Two (2) incentive days shall be granted to an employee the following year if that employee does not use any sick days granted by the Board. If an employee uses only one (1) paid leave day, the Board shall grant one (1) incentive day without restriction. The employee shall give one (1) day’s notice to their supervisor/principal. The employee may accumulate a maximum of ten (10) incentive days and use them without restriction with a three (3) days notice given to their Supervisor/principal. Any days earned over the maximum of (10) shall be paid at the rate of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per day.
INCENTIVE DAYS. All Unit members shall be eligible to receive up to six (6) additional paid days per year which may be accumulated to a maximum of fifteen (15) days and be carried over from year to year. Any days unused over 15 days can be accumulated as sick days under the provisions for Sick Days. Up to 15 incentive days can be converted to sick days at any time of the year. Such paid days shall be earned and utilized as provided below. Employees who complete a full month of service without incurring an unpaid absence from work for any reason, other than an absence due to an approved unpaid leave of absence or an injury covered by Workers' Compensation or verified long-term illness shall be credited with one-half (1/2) of a paid day. Employees who have earned and/or accumulated such days may, upon reasonable notice and approval from the immediate supervisor, take the day as a paid day off (as additional vacation or sick leave) or in cash as an extra day's pay. If the latter option is selected, the additional cash shall be payable in a lump sum at the end of the District's fiscal year, or at separation from employment.

Arrangements for paid days off must be made twenty-four (24) hours in advance (except in emergency) with the employee's designated supervisor, approved by the Superintendent and a substitute is available. No paid days off shall be taken on a work day immediately before or after a holiday or vacation period, except in emergencies and on an individual basis and at the sole discretion of the employer through the Superintendent. Employer reserves the right to restrict the number of days to be used consecutively and the total number of employees on paid days off at one time. Unused paid days off are converted to sick leave and are added to sick leave accumulation each year.
INCENTIVE DAYS. The Company may, going forward at any time following the effective date of this Agreement, designate a day(s) as an “Incentive Day.” Any flying performed on an Incentive Day, including Reschedule (Rescheduled flying performed on the Incentive Day for a sequence which did not originally touch the Incentive Day) shall pay a premium of either fifty percent (50%) or one hundred percent (100%), as determined by the Company, over the Flight Attendant’s base hourly rate for hours flown (based on the greater of scheduled or actual hours flown) on the Incentive Day (Incentive premium is paid above guarantee for reserves). For any Incentive Day flights that overlap a Red Flag sequence, the Incentive Day pay for the flights will be added to the Red Flag pay (e.g., Red Flag is designated as fifty percent (50%) premium for the sequence, and the Incentive Day will pay an additional fifty percent (50%) or one hundred (100%) incentive pay for hours flown on the Incentive Day) and will include flying that crosses over midnight Local Station Time and touches an Incentive Day.
INCENTIVE DAYS. To qualify for the first Incentive Day, a teacher must have four (4) or less absences for Emergency/Sick Leave, Salary Not Allowed, and Discretionary Leave during the previous school year. To qualify for the second Incentive Day, a teacher must have two (2) or less absences for Emergency/Sick Leave, Salary Not Allowed, and Discretionary Leave during the previous school year. An Incentive Day, when used, will not count towards the maximum leave days a teacher can use to qualify for Incentive Day(s), for the following year. An Incentive Day may be used in one-half (1/2) day increments during the school year after the year of qualification. Incentive Day(s) will not accumulate unless the banking option is chosen.
INCENTIVE DAYS. The district shall grant up to ten (10) paid leave days per work year, non-accumulative. Each employee shall receive a per diem buy back for up to five (5) unused days, payable on the first pay day after the last day of school.

When the District has reason to suspect abuse of sick leave or paid days off (such as a recurring pattern of absences or frequent intermittent absences), the District may require a statement of reasons for such absences, which may include verification of the need for such absence. Employees may be granted eight (8) days to be used as paid days off each year, without loss of pay. Unused paid days off are converted to sick leave and are added to sick leave accumulation each year. Arrangements for paid days off must be made twenty-four (24) hours in advance (except in emergency) with the employee's designated supervisor, approved by the Superintendent and a substitute is available. No paid days off shall be taken on a work day immediately before or after a holiday or vacation period, except in emergencies and on an individual basis and at the sole discretion of the employer through the Superintendent. Reasonable attempts should be made by the employee to schedule routine appointments outside of the employee’s regularly scheduled work day. Employer reserves the right to restrict the number of days to be used consecutively and the total number of employees on paid days off at one time.

INCENTIVE DAYS for an employee who does not utilize any sick days during the course of the calendar year, five (5) days of personal leave shall be added to the personal leave time of the employee; if an employee uses only one (1) sick day during the course of the calendar year, four (4) days of personal leave shall be added to the personal leave time of the employee; if an employee uses only two (2) sick days during the course of the calendar year, three (3) days of personal leave shall be added to the personal leave time of the employee; if an employee uses only three (3) sick days during the course of the calendar year, two (2) days of personal leave shall be added to the personal leave time of the employee; if an employee uses only four (4) sick days during the course of the calendar year, one (1) day of personal leave shall be added to the personal leave time of the employee. If an employee uses five (5) or more sick days during the course of the year, no incentive personal leave days shall be granted to the employee. Effective January 1, 2005, it is understood by both parties that this Sick Leave Incentive Policy will go into effect.
