Extension of Probation. 19.02.1 A Faculty Member shall be awarded extension of probation if recommended by the STP Committee as provided in this Article and recommended by the President and ratified by the Board. 19.02.2 During the interval from January 1 to March 31 of the second year of probation, a Faculty Member shall be considered for extension of probation for a period of three (3) years. 19.02.3 Consideration for extension of probation shall be made by the STP Committee which shall recommend either that probation be extended or that probation be terminated. 19.02.4 At the beginning of the extension of probation, a Faculty Member shall be given by the Xxxx a written assessment of his/her performance during the period of probation just completed and a statement of expectation for his/her performance during the extension of probation.
