Extension of Working Day. Where an employee's working day has been extended beyond the standard working day or shift at the normal place of work by EITHER - (a) at least two (2) hours, exclusive of a dinner or supper break, a meal allowance shall be paid at $4.80 effective April 1, 2007, and $5.30 effective April 1, 2012 and $5.80 effective April 1, 2013. (b) at least three and a half (3½) hours, exclusive of a dinner or supper break, an allowance equivalent to that payable for "Luncheon" in the appropriate area as shown in Article 2 - Meal Expenses - Travel Within The Province, shall be paid.

Extension of Working Day. Where an Engineer’s working day has been extended beyond the standard working day or shift at the normal place of work by EITHER – (a) at least two (2) hours, exclusive of a dinner or supper break, a meal allowance shall be paid at $5.80 effective April 6, 2013. Future increases shall be as established between the Province of Manitoba and the Manitoba Government Employees Union as it applies to the bargaining unit covered by the Government Employees Master Agreement. (b) at least three and a half (3 1/2) hours, exclusive of a dinner or supper break, an allowance equivalent to that payable for "Lunch" in the appropriate area as shown in Article 2 - Meal Expenses - Travel Within The Province, shall be paid.

  • UNCOVERING OF WORK 13.1.1 If any portion of the Work should be covered contrary to the request of the Architect or to requirements specifically expressed in the Contract Documents, it must, if required in writing by the Architect, be uncovered for his or her observation and shall be replaced at the Contractor's expense. 13.1.2 If any other portion of the Work has been covered which the Architect has not specifically requested to observe prior to being covered, the Architect may request to see such Work and it shall be uncovered by the Contractor. If such Work is found in accordance with the Contract Documents, the cost of uncovering and replacement shall, by appropriate Change Order, be charged to the State. If such Work is found not to be in accordance with the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall pay such costs unless it is found that this condition was caused by the State or a separate contractor as provided in Article 6 of these General Conditions, in which event the State shall be responsible for the payment of such costs.

  • Suspension of Work The Department may, at its sole discretion, suspend any or all activities under the Contract, at any time, when it is in the best interest of the State of Florida to do so. The Customer may suspend a resulting contract or purchase order, at any time, when in the best interest of the Customer to do so. The Department or Customer will provide the Contractor written notice outlining the particulars of the suspension. After receiving a suspension notice, the Contractor must comply with the notice and will cease the performance of the Contract or purchase order. Suspension of work will not entitle the Contractor to any additional compensation. The Contractor will not resume performance of the Contract or purchase order until so authorized by the Department.

  • EXTENSION OF USE The Contract may be extended to additional States or governmental jurisdictions upon mutual written agreement between New York State (the lead contracting State) and the Contractor. Political subdivisions and other authorized entities within each participating State or governmental jurisdiction may also participate in the Contract if such State normally allows participation by such entities. New York State reserves the right to negotiate additional minimum NYS Vehicle Discounts based on any increased volume generated by such extensions.

  • Continuation of Work Pending the resolution of any dispute or claim pursuant to this Article 11, the Parties agree that performance of all obligations will be pursued diligently.

  • Payment Does Not Imply Acceptance of Work The granting of any payment by City, or the receipt thereof by Contractor, shall in no way lessen the liability of Contractor to replace unsatisfactory work, equipment, or materials, although the unsatisfactory character of such work, equipment or materials may not have been apparent or detected at the time such payment was made. Materials, equipment, components, or workmanship that do not conform to the requirements of this Agreement may be rejected by City and in such case must be replaced by Contractor without delay.

  • Period of Work Work under this Agreement shall begin no sooner than the date on which this Agreement has been fully executed by the parties and approved by the Controller and the State Purchases Review Committee. Unless terminated earlier, this Agreement shall expire on the date set out on the first page of this Agreement, or at the completion and acceptance of all specified tasks, and delivery of all contracted products and services as defined in this Agreement, including performance of any warranty and/or maintenance agreements, whichever is the later date.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client.   • Extension of Services Upon written notice by Recipient to Provider at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of the applicable Service Period for any Service (unless the Schedules hereto specify that such Service is not eligible for extension), Recipient shall have the right to request that Provider extend the Service Period of any Service so that such Service ends on the earlier of (a) ninety (90) days following the last date on which Service Provider is obligated to provide such Service in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and (b) the Term (each such extension, a “Service Extension”). If Provider agrees to provide such Service during the requested Service Extension period, then (i) the Parties shall in good faith negotiate the terms of an amendment to the Schedules hereto, which amendment shall be consistent with the terms of the applicable Service; and (ii) the Charge for such Service during the Service Extension period shall be equal to one hundred twenty five percent (125%) of the Charge for such Service plus all costs, fees and expenses unless otherwise specified with respect to a particular Service on the Schedules hereto, or in the other Ancillary Agreements, payable by Provider or its Subsidiaries to a Third Party to the extent resulting from such Service Extension (to the extent not already included in such Charge); provided that, if such Service Extension is the result of Provider’s failure to provide the Service during the applicable Service Period (the amount of time that Service Provider so failed to provide such Service, the “Service Suspension Period”), then the Charge for such Service during the Service Extension period shall be equal to (x) one hundred percent (100%) of the Charge for such Service, for a number of days equal to the Service Suspension Period and (y) one hundred twenty five percent (125%) of the Charge for such Service plus all costs, fees and expenses unless otherwise specified with respect to a particular Service on the Schedules hereto, or in the other Ancillary Agreements, payable by Provider or its Subsidiaries to a Third Party to the extent resulting from such Service Extension (to the extent not already included in such Charge), for the remaining days of the Service Extension period, if any. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Service Period of any particular Service (1) may not be extended more than once and (2) may not be extended later than the Term. Each amendment of the Schedules hereto, as agreed to in writing by the Parties, shall be deemed part of this Agreement as of the date of such agreement and any Services provided pursuant to such Service Extensions shall be deemed “Services” provided under this Agreement, in each case subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
