Common use of Fair Practice Clause in Contracts

Fair Practice. The agreements in this Contract shall supersede any rules, regulations, and/or practices of the Board, which are contrary to or inconsistent with the terms recorded herein. Any individual contract between the Board and an individual teacher shall be consistent with the terms and conditions of this Contract. If an individual contract made subsequent to this Contract contains any language inconsistent with this Contract, this Contract shall prevail. The provisions of this Contract shall be applied without regard to marital status, race, creed, religion, sex, color, or national origin. Marital status, race, creed, religion, color, sex, or national origin shall not be made a condition of employment as a certificated school employee of the School Corporation.
