ADOPTION LOA. A teacher requesting a leave of absence (LOA) for adoption will be granted six (6) weeks of paid time. The teacher will use personal leave bank days and may use the PCCS Thirty (30) Day Emergency Bank and or request five days from next year allotment of leave days.

  • Adoption Leave (a) The employee will notify the employer at least ten weeks in advance of the date of commencement of adoption leave and the period of leave to be taken.   • Contributions for OTPP Plan Members i. When an employee/plan member is on short term sick leave and receiving less than 100% of regular salary, the Board will continue to deduct and remit OTPP contributions based on 100% of the employee/plan member’s regular pay.
