FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE ACT AND SMALL NECESSITIES LEAVE ACT. Notwithstanding anything in the agreement to the contrary, any unit member eligible for leave under state or federal law may exercise his or her rights to take Family and Medical Leave pursuant to the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (“FMLA”), the Massachusetts Parental Leave Law (“MPLL”) or to take Small Necessities Leave pursuant to the Massachusetts Small Necessities Leave Act (“SNLA”).
