Family Responsibility and Pressing Necessity Leave. Subject to Appendix B of this Agreement, an employee with sufficient cause may be granted Family Responsibility and Pressing Necessity Leave with pay. Employees shall accumulate credits at a rate of 1/52 of time worked. At no time shall an employee have more than five (5) days worth of credits in their bank. For the purpose of this article an adult relation includes a domestic partner, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, adult child or someone who has fulfilled one of these roles. Every effort should be made to schedule appointments outside of scheduled work time.
