Dependent Care definition

Dependent Care. Center" (for purposes of this Section IX) shall be a facility which: (i) provides care for more than six individuals (other than individuals who reside at the facility); (ii) receives a fee, payment, or grant for providing services for any of the individuals (regardless of whether such facility is operated for profit); and (iii) satisfies all applicable laws and regulations of a state or unit of local government.
Dependent Care. Allows you to use before-tax dollars to pay for child care or for an elderly or disabled family member. Up to $5,000.00 can be contributed if married, or up to $2,500.00 can be contributed if single.

  • For the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, you must submit claims no later than 90 days after the end of the Plan Year.

Dependent Care means the support of persons who cannot meet their own needs, such as children or functionally impaired adults.
Dependent Care. The CSU recognizes the importance of child care, elder care, and disabled dependent care, and employees may participate in child care programs that exist in campus or systemwide policies. Public Transportation Incentives: Campuses shall encourage the use of mass transportation by promoting programs such as free/discounted mass transit passes, van pools, ride share programs, permits for bike riders in inclement weather and commuter tax benefit programs (21.S9). When possible, CSU shall adjust employee²s work schedule to accommodate use of alternative transportation (21.40).
