Common use of Fares Allowance Clause in Contracts

Fares Allowance. Employees including Apprentices, required to start and/or finish work on the site and the work site is between 0 – 50 kilometres from the workshop or registered office are entitled to fares allowance as follows: (a) If the employee provides own transport – refer Appendix A - 30.4.4 (a) or (b) (b) If the employee is provided with transport free of charge – this includes (in lieu of clause 30.4.4(c) of the Award) where the Company offers to provide transport free of charge whether from the employee’s home or other agreed location – refer Appendix A – 30.4.4 (c).
