FEDERAL CREDIT UNION MEMBERSHIP. To apply for membership with CP Federal Credit Union You must complete, sign and return an application for membership. Your signature on Your application for membership informs the Credit Union that You would like to join the Credit Union and that You agree to conform to the Credit Union's Bylaws and Amendments. Credit Union membership is granted to applicants within CP Federal Credit Union's common bond as outlined in the Credit Union's Charter. Eligibility also includes spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership; Credit Union employees; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from organizations within the Credit Union's common bond; and organizations of such persons. By signing Your application for membership, You acknowledge receipt of these Agreements and Disclosures, including the terms and conditions which apply to Your Accounts.

FEDERAL CREDIT UNION MEMBERSHIP. To apply for membership with Henrico Federal Credit Union You must complete, sign and return an application for membership. Your signature on Your application for membership informs the Credit Union that You would like to join the Credit Union and that You agree to conform to the Credit Union's Bylaws and Amendments. Credit Union membership is granted to applicants within Henrico Federal Credit Union's common bond as outlined in the Credit Union's Charter. To the extent permitted by law, all owners are liable to Us for any overdrafts that may occur on Your Account, regardless of whether or not a benefit occurred and checks cashed against any Account are subject to collectability from such Account if returned unpaid. Any owner may provide Us written notice to freeze funds on deposit and We may, at Our option, honor such written request. If We do, then the Account will remain frozen until We receive subsequent written notice signed by all owners of the Account as to a disposition of funds on deposit (i.e. Account closure). We may, at Our sole and exclusive option, elect to close Your Account in which case We will issue a check that is payable jointly to all Account owners. Any or all of the joint owners may pledge all or any part of the shares in the Accounts as collateral security to a loan or loans and any funds on deposit may be utilized to satisfy any debt or garnishment of any owner of the Account. The right or authority of the Credit Union under these Agreements and Disclosures shall not be changed or terminated by said owners or any of them except by written notice to Us, which shall not affect transactions made prior to such notice. It is the responsibility of joint Account owners to determine any legal effects of opening and maintaining a joint Account.

  • Credit Union The employer agrees to deduct authorized credit union deductions from each pay and to remit such to one (1) of the two (2) recognized credit unions within one (1) week of the date of the deduction.

  • Union Membership Every employee who is now or hereafter becomes a member of the Union shall maintain membership in the Union as a condition of employment, and every new employee whose employment commences hereafter shall, within thirty (30) days after the commencement of employment, apply for and maintain membership in the Union, as a condition of employment, provided that any employee in the appropriate bargaining unit, who is not required to maintain membership or apply for and maintain membership in the Union, shall, as a condition of employment, tender to the Union the periodic dues uniformly required to be paid by the members of the Union.

  • Credit Union Examination The Credit Union may disregard information on any check other than the signature of the drawer and amount of the item and any magnetic encoded information. You agree the Credit Union does not fail to exercise ordinary care in paying an item solely because its procedures do not provide for sight examination of items.

  • Association Membership In accordance with applicable laws, the Employer/Appointing Authority shall not discriminate against, interfere with, restrain or coerce an employee from exercising their right to join or not to join the Association, or participate in an official capacity on behalf of the Association, which is in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. The Association shall not discriminate against, interfere with, restrain or coerce an employee from exercising the right to join or not to join the Association, and will not discriminate against any employee in the administration of this Agreement because of non- membership in the Association.

  • Credit Union Deductions The Employer agrees to honor Credit Union deduction requests for members who have properly signed and executed the payroll deduction form. Such deduction shall remain in effect until the Employer is properly notified in writing by the employee of any change.

  • UNION MEMBERSHIP AND DUES 4.05.1 All employees who were members in good standing of the union on the date this agreement was ratified shall remain members in good standing. Any employee shall be deemed to be a member of the union unless that employee opts out, or has opted out, of membership by written notice to the union within thirty days of the date their appointment begins. 4.05.2 The employer shall deduct each month from the salary (if any) of each employee a sum equal to the monthly dues and/or assessments as certified to the employer from time to time by the treasurer of the union. The employer shall remit the amount deducted to the treasurer of the union by the end of the month in which deductions were made and at the same time forward a list of names of the persons from whom the deductions were made and their total monthly salary. 4.05.3 The union shall indemnify and save the employer harmless from any and all claims which may be made against it by an employee or employees for wrongful amounts deducted resulting from the union’s incorrect instructions or lack of instructions.

  • UNION MEMBERSHIP AND DUES DEDUCTION 4.01 All Employees have the right: (a) to be members of the Union and to participate in its lawful activities; (b) to bargain collectively with the Employer through the Union. 4.02 The Employer will, as a condition of employment, deduct from the earnings of each Employee covered by this Collective Agreement an amount equal to the dues as determined by the Union. The Union acknowledges that the deductions of amounts equal to the dues does not constitute membership in the Union and membership in the Union shall continue to be voluntary. 4.03 Consistent with the payroll system of the Employer, the Union will advise the Employer of the amount of its membership dues. An amount equal to said membership dues will be deducted from each Employee at the prescribed rate and remitted to the Union not later than the fifteenth (15th) of the month following. The remittance shall be accompanied by a list specifying the following: (a) the Employee's name; (b) mailing address; (c) classification; (d) site(s); (e) Employee status; (Regular Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Casual); (f) Basic Rate of Pay; (g) the amount of deduction for each Employee; (h) the Employee's gross pay; (i) personal phone number; (j) Employee number; (k) starting date; (l) Employees on long term absence status where applicable. Long term absence shall mean any absence in excess of six (6) months; and (m) unless already provided, a separate listing of all Casual Employees including the name of the Employee and date of hire. 4.04 The dues structure of the Union shall be on a percentage basis and the Union shall give not less than thirty (30) days notice of any change in the rate at which dues are to be deducted. Any change in the amount of deductions shall be implemented by the Employer at the next possible pay period following expiry of the notice period. 4.05 Where an accounting adjustment is necessary to correct an over or under payment of dues, it shall be effected in the succeeding month. 4.06 The Employer shall indicate the dues deducted and enter the amount on the T-4 slip supplied to the Employee.

  • Notice to Credit Union You agree that the Credit Union’s retention of checks or drafts does not alter or waive your responsibility to examine your statements or the time limit for notifying us of any errors. The statement will be considered correct for all purposes, and we will not be liable for any payment made or charge to your account unless you notify us in writing within the above time limit for notifying us of any errors. If you fail to receive a periodic statement, you agree to notify us within 14 days of the time you regularly receive a statement.

  • Credit Union Liability If we do not properly complete a transaction according to this Agreement, we will be liable for your losses or damages not to exceed the amount of the transaction, except as otherwise provided by law. We will not be liable if: (1) your account contains insufficient funds for the transaction; (2) circumstances beyond our control prevent the transaction; (3) your loss is caused by your or another financial institution's negligence; or (4) your account funds are subject to legal process or other claim. We will not be liable for consequential damages, except liability for wrongful dishonor. We exercise ordinary care if our actions or nonactions are consistent with applicable state law, Federal Reserve regulations and operating letters, clearinghouse rules, and general financial institution practices followed in the area we serve. You grant us the right, in making payments of deposited funds, to rely exclusively on the form of the account and the terms of this Agreement. Any conflict regarding what you and our employees say or write will be resolved by reference to this Agreement.

  • UNION MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT 4.01 Within one (1) week of the signing of this Agreement, all employees of the Employer shall, as a condition of employment, become and remain members in good standing of the Union, according to the Constitution and By-Laws of the Union. As a condition of employment, all new employees shall become and remain members in good standing of the Union within six (6) months of employment.
