Filling Posted Job Vacancies. (a) The Employer shall acknowledge receipt of each application for a posted job vacancy and the applicants and the Union shall be advised of the name of the person selected to fill the vacancy and the employment status and seniority date of that person.

Filling Posted Job Vacancies. (a) The Applicants To Be Acknowledged All applications for posted jobs shall be in writing and the Employer shall acknowledge receipt of each application for a posted job vacancy and the applicants and the Union shall be advised of the name of the person selected to fill the vacancy and the employment status and status, seniority date and job title of that person and, in the case of a person hired from outside of the bargaining unit, of the external hire status of such person.
