Financial Aid Probation. Any student who does not maintain satisfactory academic progress in any semester shall be placed on probation for the following semester. While on probation, the student will continue to receive grants provided they agree to complete the minimum credits for which they received payment. However, loan eligibility may be affected. At the end of the probation period, the student’s academic progress will be reviewed again. Probationary status will be removed if the student has met the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards. Students who do not make satisfactory academic progress during the probationary semester will be placed on financial aid suspension. Students who are placed on financial aid suspension are ineligible to receive financial aid. Students may request reinstatement of financial aid upon proof of completion of at least half-time status with a cumulative

The committee will meet in person with the student filing the appeal. if the advisory committee grants mitigating circumstances for a semester of unsatisfactory progress, financial aid eligibility will be extended for one semester. This semester will be considered a probationary period. students may receive an approved appeal only once while at Cuesta College.

  • No Employment Guaranteed Nothing in this Award Agreement shall give the Participant any rights to (or impose any obligations for) continued Employment by the Corporation or any Subsidiary or successor, nor shall it give such entities any rights (or impose any obligations) with respect to continued performance of duties by the Participant.

  • NATIONAL JOINT COUNCIL AGREEMENTS 22.1 Subject to the National Joint Council By-Laws, agreements concluded by the National Joint Council of the Public Service on items which may be included in a collective agreement, and which the parties to this agreement have endorsed after December 6, 1978, will form part of this collective agreement, subject to the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Act (FPSLRA) and any legislation by Parliament that has been or may be, as the case may be, established pursuant to any Act prescribed in Section 113(b) of the PSLRA. 22.2 NJC items which may be included in a collective agreement are those items which the parties to the NJC agreements have designated as such or upon which the Chairman of the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Board has made a ruling pursuant to (c) of the NJC Memorandum of Understanding which became effective December 6, 1978 22.3 The following directives, as amended from time to time by National Joint Council recommendation and which have been approved by the National Research Council Canada, form part of this Agreement: - Bilingualism Bonus Directive - Commuting Assistance Directive - Occupational Health and Safety Directive - Relocation Directive - Travel Directive - First Aid to the General Public – Allowances for Employees - Public Service Health Care Plan - Uniforms Directive 22.4 During the term of this Agreement, other directives may be added to the above noted list. 22.5 Grievances in regard to the above directives shall be presented in accordance with clause 19.1 of the Grievance Procedure article of this Agreement.

  • Letter of Understanding Grievance Commissioner System This is to confirm the discussion of the parties during collective bargaining that they are committed to encouraging early discussion and resolution of labour relations issues at the local level and seek to resolve grievances in a timely and cost-efficient manner. To that end, this is to confirm that pursuant to Article 8, the parties agree that the Employer and Union at individual Homes may agree to utilize the following process in order to resolve a particular grievance through the utilization of a joint mediation-arbitration procedure:

  • Settlement Practices The Custodian shall provide to each Board the information with respect to custody and settlement practices in countries in which the Custodian employs an Eligible Foreign Custodian described on Schedule C at the time or times set forth on the Schedule. The Custodian may revise Schedule C from time to time, but no revision shall result in a Board being provided with substantively less information than had been previously provided on Schedule C.
