Common use of First Aid Attendants Clause in Contracts

First Aid Attendants. (a) A continuing employee appropriately qualified in first aid and designated by the Board as a First Aid Attendant, shall be reimbursed course fees and renewal fees. Should it not be possible to schedule first aid examinations during non-working hours, the employee shall be granted leave of absence without loss of pay in order to write such examinations. (b) Courses will be taken whenever possible outside of normal working hours. When such courses are taken outside of normal working hours, the employee, upon successful completion, will receive vacation credits at straight time for the length of the course instruction and related examination.
