Common use of Flex Day Clause in Contracts

Flex Day. Employees in positions of less than 260 days may bank up to one work day of flex time to be used during the work year at a time which is agreeable between the employee and the supervisor. Time worked for the purpose of “banking” in accordance with this Flex Day section may not exceed forty (40) hours a week. Any time worked in excess of forty (40) hours must be supervisor authorized and compensated in accordance with Section 8.6 above. The flex day must be used during the work year.
