FLSA Exempt Employee Sample Clauses

FLSA Exempt Employee. An employee in a position whose duties meet one of the exemptions from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. FLSA exempt employees are paid on a salaried basis and are not eligible for overtime compensation, including call-back pay under this Agreement.

  • Casual Employee Casual employee shall mean an individual who is hired on a job contract or on an hourly basis for unscheduled or irregular work. The only provisions of this Agreement applying to the employment of casual employees are contained in Schedule B.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.
