FLSA Work Periods. The FLSA work periods shall be twenty-eight (28) consecutive days for employees working a forty (40)-hour schedule and twenty-three (23) consecutive days for employees working a forty-seven (47)-hour schedule.

FLSA Work Periods. The District has established an individual FLSA work period for all employees of the Bargaining Unit consisting of 24 days which commences at 1900 on the first day of the period and concludes at 1900 hours on the last day of the period. Each work period shall commence on the 24th day of the period. Each employee’s work period shall be established so that the employee’s “Xxxxx Xxx” (16th shift) falls on the shift starting at 0700 on the 24th day of his work period and ends at 0700 on the first day of the succeeding work period. It is agreed that the staging of the FLSA work periods in this manner is designed to eliminate the payment of FLSA overtime pay for regularly scheduled hours.

Related to FLSA Work Periods

  • Work Period The normal work period shall consist of forty (40) hours of work within a seven (7) day period or eighty (80) hours of work within a fourteen (14) day period.

  • Break Periods ‌ There will be no rest periods, organized coffee breaks or other non-working time established during working hours. Individual coffee containers will be permitted at the employee’s work location. Where 4/10s are being worked there shall be a morning and an afternoon coffee break.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as closely as possible to the middle of the workday. The length of the meal period shall be not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than sixty (60) minutes.

  • Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.
