FLSA Work Period. The parties acknowledge and agree to document that the City has adopted a work period pursuant to 29 U.S.C. section 207(k) and 29 C.F.R. section 553.230(a) for CMFA members and that the work period is 28 days. Members will not be entitled to overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act until they have worked more than 212 hours in this work period. Firefighters on light duty are not subject to this work period.

FLSA Work Period. Prior to May 1, 2003, the work cycle of each employee for the purpose of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will continue to be an established regular re-occurring period of twenty-seven (27) consecutive days which shall run from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The amounts set forth on the salary schedule represent a fixed annual amount to be received for straight time pay for 2695.44 hours including regular tours of duty and paid leaves. Effective January 1, 2016, concurrent with the implementation of a regular work schedule providing for a Xxxxx xxx every thirteenth (13) shift, the City may utilize any authorized FLSA work cycle it deems appropriate. This work period shall be established so that the last day of a preceding work period falls on the first twelve (12) hours of the employee’s Xxxxx xxx (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and the first day of the next work period falls on the last twelve
FLSA Work Period. The FLSA standard work period is a seven-day work week that begins at 12:01 am Friday and ends at 12:00 midnight the following Thursday. Any exceptions to this work period will be documented and maintained on a list shared between the Human Resources Department and the Union. Nothing in this provision is intended to affect the right of any employee to overtime pursuant to the terms of this MOU.
FLSA Work Period. The parties agree to a 28-day FLSA work period. Regularly scheduled hours will be 216 hours (9 shifts) or 240 hours (10 shifts) during each 28 day FLSA cycle. Thus the regularly scheduled hours will become 216 or 240, depending on the assigned work schedule for a particular FLSA cycle, and the FLSA threshold will be 212 hours.
FLSA Work Period. 3.2.1 For the purposes of calculating District overtime, all hours worked in excess of the employee’s regularly scheduled hours (e.g. hours in excess of 192 hours in a 24-day work cycle for shift personnel) shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1.5) times the Regular Rate of Pay as set forth in 29 USC Section 207 and 29 C.F.R. Section 778.113. Vacation and Sick Leave usage shall not reduce an employee’s entitlement to this additional compensation. 3.2.2 The District has adopted an extended work period as authorized under Section 207(k) of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The District declares a 24-day work cycle with an FLSA threshold of 182 hours for shift personnel. Members will work 192 hours in the 24-day work cycle which results in 10 hours of overtime premiums for their regular work cycle. The formula to be used to account for this is 10x(365/24)/24=6.32 hours of one and half times the regular rate of pay per pay period. Hours worked in excess of worked in excess of 192 hours in the work period shall be paid overtime under the FLSA rate of one and one-half times (1.5) regular rate of pay inclusive of all applicable incentives.

FLSA Work Period. The FLSA work period for employees regularly working an eight (8) hour or a ten (10) hour shift shall be defined as forty (40) hours in a seven day period beginning at the employees start time on Sunday and ending 168 hours later.
FLSA Work Period. 3.2.1 The Gold Ridge Fire Protection District establishes a regular recurring work period of twenty-eight (28) consecutive days for its fire protection personnel, pursuant to 29 U.S.C. 207(k) of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The District’s 28-day, 207(k) work period begins at 0800 on July 1, 2017, ends twenty-eight days later on July 28, 2017 and recurs regularly thereafter. The FLSA overtime threshold for the District’s 28-day, 207(k) work period is 212 hours. FLSA overtime is based on actual, physical hours worked in excess of the applicable FLSA threshold. For personnel subject to the 28-day, 207(k) work period, the FLSA overtime threshold is exceeded when an employee’s actual, physical hours worked during the 28-day period exceed 212. Vacation and Sick Leave usage shall not reduce an employee’s entitlement to this additional compensation.
FLSA Work Period. All eligible fire protection employees, regardless of rank, are subject to an FLSA work period that is twenty-eight (28) days in length with an FLSA overtime threshold of 212 hours, pursuant to 29 U.S.C. section 207(k).
