Common use of Formal Level One Clause in Contracts

Formal Level One. If the grievance cannot be resolved informally, the Association may file the grievance in writing with the principal or responsible administrator and should inform the immediate supervisor. The written grievance shall state the nature of the grievance, the specific provisions of the agreement allegedly violated, and the relief requested. The filing of the formal, written grievance at Level One must be within thirty (30) days from the date of the occurrence of the event giving rise to the grievance or from the date when the grievant could reasonably have become aware of such occurrence.
