Common use of Formal Level One Clause in Contracts

Formal Level One. The grievance statement should include the following: 6.2.2.1 A statement of the grievance clearly indicating the question raised by the grievance, the facts upon which it is based, such as supporting documents and other relevant data, and the section of the Agreement allegedly violated. 6.2.2.2 The remedy or correction requested of the District, and the concise disagreement with the administrative solution proposed. The grievance statement shall be signed and dated by the grievant and their representative. The date and time of presentation shall be affixed and signed as received by the immediate supervisor. The immediate supervisor shall give their written answer to the grievance within five (5) working days from the time the written grievance is received. The supervisor’s answer shall include the following: 6.2.2.2.1 A statement of the supervisor’s position and the facts and supporting documents, etc. upon which it is based. 6.2.2.2.2 The remedy or correction, which has been offered, if any.
