Formal Steps (Levels) a. Level I: If the grievance remains unresolved at the informal level, the professional staff member may first file his/her grievance with the immediate supervisor within ten (10) calendar days of the occurrence of the event being grieved. Within five (5) calendar days after receiving the grievance, the immediate supervisor will render his/her decision. The professional staff member shall state the policy which is being violated, misinterpreted, or inequitably applied and the remedy sought. Forms for submitting grievances will be provided by the District.

After the filing of the grievance, an extension of up to ten (10) additional days shall be granted at the request of either party.

  • Performance Levels (a) The Performance Levels which apply to the performance by the respective Parties of their obligations under this Agreement are set out in Part 1 of Schedule 5. A failure by either Party to achieve the relevant Performance Level will not constitute a breach of this Agreement and the only consequences of such failure as between the Parties shall be the consequences set out in this Clause 5.6.
