G rievance Representatives. UFF shall annually furnish to the University a list of all persons 61 62 63 64 65 66 67 68 69 70 71 72 11.6 A 73 74 75 76 77 78 79 80 81 82 83 84 authorized to act as grievance representatives and shall update the list as needed. The UFF grievance representative shall have the responsibility to meet all classes, office hours, and other duties and responsibilities incidental to the assigned workload. Such representative shall have the right during times outside of those hours scheduled for these activities to investigate, consult, and prepare grievance presentations and attend grievance hearings and meetings. Should any hearings or meetings with the Vice Xxxxxxx of Assessment and Instruction, Xxxxxxx, or their designees necessitate rescheduling of assigned duties, the representative may, with the approval of the appropriate administrator, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Grievance Representation (A) An employee who decides to use this grievance procedure shall indicate at Step 1 (or other initial written step as authorized by the provisions of this Article) whether he shall be represented by the Union. If a grievant selects a Union Grievance Representative to represent him in a grievance which has been properly filed in accordance with this Article, the Union Grievance Representative may be allowed a reasonable amount of annual leave to investigate the grievance. Such annual leave shall be subject to prior approval by the Union Grievance Representative’s immediate supervisor; however, approval of such leave will not be withheld if the Union Grievance Representative can be allowed such time off without interfering with, or unduly hampering the operations of the unit to which the Union Grievance Representative is regularly assigned. When a grievant has elected Union representation, both the grievant and the Union Grievance Representative shall be notified of a Step 1 meeting. Written communication concerning the grievance or its resolution shall be sent to the grievant and the Union Grievance Representative, and the decision agreed to by the state and the Union shall be binding on the grievant. (B) If the employee is not represented by the Union, an adjustment of the grievance shall be consistent with the terms of this collective bargaining Agreement. The Union shall be given reasonable opportunity to be present at a meeting called for the resolution of such grievance. A grievant using this procedure in the processing of a grievance will be bound by the procedure established by the parties to the Agreement. (C) The Executive Director of the Union shall furnish to the state a list of Union Representatives and the state will not recognize a person as a Union Representative whose name does not appear on the list. (D) If a grievance meeting, mediation, or arbitration hearing is held or requires reasonable travel time during the work hours of grievant, a representative of the grievant, or any required witnesses, such hours shall be deemed time worked. Attendance at grievance meetings, mediation, or arbitration hearings outside of a participant’s regular work hours shall not be deemed time worked. The state will not pay the expenses of participants attending such meetings on behalf of the Union.

  • CONTRACTOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Contractor shall designate a customer service representative (and inform Enterprise Services of the same) who shall be responsible for addressing Purchaser issues pertaining to this Master Contract.

  • Staff Representatives A. The Union will provide the Employer with a written list of staff representatives and the bargaining unit for which they are responsible. The Union will provide written notice to the Employer of any changes within thirty (30) calendar days of the changes. B. Staff representatives may have access to the Employer’s offices or facilities to carry out representational activities. The representatives will notify the Employer prior to their arrival and will not interrupt the normal operations of the Employer. The staff representative may meet with bargaining unit employees in non-work areas during the employee’s meal periods, rest periods, and before and after the employee’s shift. C. The Employer’s written Board of Trustee or administrative policies pertaining to employees represented by the Union will be made available to staff representatives.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. (b) The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee, one of whom shall be chair. This committee shall operate and conduct itself in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement and the number of nurses on the Grievance Committee is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. (c) It is agreed that Union representatives and members of the Grievance Committee have their regular duties and responsibilities to perform for the Hospital and shall not leave their regular duties without first obtaining permission from their immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. If, in the performance of their duties, a union representative or member of the Grievance Committee is required to enter a unit within the hospital in which they are not ordinarily employed they shall, immediately upon entering such unit, report their presence to the supervisor or nurse in charge, as the case may be. When resuming their regular duties and responsibilities, such representatives shall again report to their immediate supervisor. The Hospital agrees to pay for all time spent during their regular hours by such representatives hereunder.

  • Project Representatives The Contractor designates the following individual as project representative for all matters concerning this Agreement: Xxx Xxxxxxxxx, Principal 00000 Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx, Xxxxx 000, Xxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx 00000 Phone: 000.000.0000 Email: Xxx@XXXX.xxx The Authority designates the following individual as Contract Administrator/project representative to be the initial point of contact for all matters concerning this Agreement: Xxxx Xxxxxxxxxxxxx, Authority Buyer 000 Xxxx Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx 00000 Phone: 000.000.0000 Email: XxxxxxxxxxxxxX0@xxxxxxxx.xxx Except for changes to the performance schedule (not including the project’s completion date), the designated project representatives shall have no authority to make promises or binding obligations on behalf of the Authority, as such authority rests with the duly authorized persons executing this Agreement.

  • Union Representatives Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the number may be altered from time to time. Where a Union Representative commences on an extended leave of absence, the Union will endeavour to find a temporary replacement for the Union Representative from within the Home.

  • Contractor’s Representative Contractor hereby designates [***INSERT NAME OR TITLE***], or his or her designee, to act as its representative for the performance of this Agreement (“Contractor’s Representative”). Contractor’s Representative shall have full authority to represent and act on behalf of the Contractor for all purposes under this Agreement. The Contractor’s Representative shall supervise and direct the Services, using his best skill and attention, and shall be responsible for all means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures and for the satisfactory coordination of all portions of the Services under this Agreement.
