General Education Students. During the course of the school year, if a child is found to possess a physical, mental, or emotional handicap, the following steps will be taken: 1. The teacher will take the responsibility for referring the child to the counselor and building principal. 2. After consultation and joint agreement between the teacher, counselor, and building principal, the student may be removed from the classroom until further steps can be taken to achieve a solution to the problems.

General Education Students. They understand that the student is placed on an Alternative Probationary Agreement, in lieu of expulsion, for having committed an expellable offense. They understand and agree that while this Alternative Probationary Contract is in effect, if the student violates Section IV of School Board Policy 5006, then the School Board shall act upon the expulsion, and the student may be assigned to complete the District’s Expulsion Abeyance Program for up to one calendar year (one calendar year, from the date of the infraction). They understand and agree that if the student fails to successfully complete the assigned Expulsion Abeyance Program, then the student may be expelled from Broward County Public Schools for the remainder of the assigned expulsion abeyance period.
General Education Students. North Greenbush will pay “base tuition” rates for regular education students per the following schedule: K-6 7-12 2019-2020 $8,115 $8,328 2020-2021 $8,277 $8,495 2021-2022 $8,443 $8,665 2022-2023 $8,612 $8,838 2. Students with Special NeedsRegular School Year: a. Tuition for students with special needs placed by the Xxxxxxx Park Committee on Special Education (CSE) in a Self-Contained Classroom, Private School or BOCES placement will be paid by North Greenbush based on the actual program costs incurred by Xxxxxxx Park rather than on the base tuition schedule above, less any high cost private or public special education aid received by Xxxxxxx Park. b. North Greenbush will pay a 5% administrative fee based on the net tuition cost after consideration of any high cost private or public special education aid received by Xxxxxxx Park for students billed under 2.a. c. Tuition for students with special needs receiving services within the Xxxxxxx Park School District as determined by the Xxxxxxx Park CSE (such as Resource Room, Consultant Teacher, Special Class or Related Services) will be paid by North Greenbush based on the actual costs of providing those additional services incurred by Xxxxxxx Park, plus the base tuition charge as detailed in the schedule above, except for those students for whom the cost of their services generate high cost public special education aid. Tuition for these students will be based on 2.a above. d. The Xxxxxxx Park CSE shall determine the program and placement for any north Greenbush students admitted under this Agreement. North Greenbush may have a representative participate in such determinations if they wish to do so.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Students Payments which a student or business apprentice who is or was immediately before visiting a Contracting State a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned State solely for the purpose of his education or training receives for the purpose of his maintenance, education or training shall not be taxed in that State, provided that such payments arise from sources outside that State.

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Distance Education 7.13.1 Expanding student access, not increasing productivity or enrollment, shall be the primary determining factor when a decision is made to schedule a distance education course. There will be no reduction in force of faculty (as defined in Article XXIII of this Agreement) as a result of the District’s participation in distance education. 7.13.2 Courses considered to be offered as distance education shall be defined in accordance with the Board of Governors’ Title 5 Regulations and Guidelines. Generally, this definition refers to courses where the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technology (reference section 55370 of Title 5 California Code of Regulations). The determination of which courses in the curriculum may be offered in a distance education format, in addition to instructor/student contact requirements, shall be in accordance with the Title 5 California Code of Regulations.

  • Dimensions Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 4 years of IT work experience in data modeling, data analysis, relational DBMS design and support and relevant computing environments.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.
